Se suspende la caza de la liebre debido al brote de mixomatosis.
Es un hecho que las liebres de nuestro país están pasando unos momentos críticos, ya se venía viendo menos liebres durante los últimos años, pero con la aparición de la mixomatosis su población se está viendo seriamente afectada.
Según ha comunicado la Real Federación Española de Caza (RFEC) «en todas las competiciones» oficiales ante el brote de mixomatosis que apareció este verano en Andalucía y que se ha extendido por el centro y sur peninsular en menos de tres meses. Y es que ya son 5 comunidades las cuales se han encontrado liebre enfermas Andalucía, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha, Murcia y Madrid.
